Overview of World Kidney Day 2026 events in Switzerland.

Hôpital Riviera-Chablais, Vaud-Valais (HRC) is organising the following activities on the occasion of World Kidney Day 2026:

Two information stands will be set up:

  • at the Rennaz Hospital Centre;
  • at the Coop in Rennaz.

Free screening and an information stand including:

  • blood pressure measurement;
  • capillary blood glucose measurement;
  • information on kidney health and dialysis.

The Groupement Hospitalier de l’Ouest Lémanique (GHOL) is organising an awareness event dedicated to kidney health on the occasion of World Kidney Day 2026.

An information stand will be set up to inform the public about the essential role of the kidneys. Visitors will be able to learn more about kidney diseases.

The focus will be on the main risk factors — particularly high blood pressure and diabetes — as well as on the importance of early detection. Measuring blood pressure and performing a simple urine test can indeed help detect kidney impairment at an early stage, when action is still possible.
